Read some of the reviews from my clients:
"Chantal was great at helping us to understand our dog's behaviour. Not only do we now know how to deal with problems but more importantly how to prevent them."
"Tu aimes les chiens et cela paraît. Bravo! Ton enseignement reflète ta passion."
Barbara contacted the Ottawa Canine School for help with Teddy, noting that he was aggressive, barking, dominant, fearful, snapping, snarling etc. Her "#1 goal (was) for him to learn to get along with other dogs. " After graduating from Basic Obedience, Teddy's handlers had this to say: "Teddy has had training before (...) and this was the only one which actually made a change in his behaviour".
"Chantal is very positive and cheery; also calm at all times. This is much appreciated. Thank you, Chantal, for making these classes so much fun. I can't believe the change in Laddy. He's now a well-behaved and attentive dog."
"Chantal is very knowledgeable. I wish I could take the trainer home to continue the training!"
Chantal, Your strength is your ability to be personal with each dog. You are very easy to learn from. Especially by having first hand experience watching you with Everest. I really enjoyed the class. I learned a lot of tricks for myself to use when working with Abby. Also, a lot of day to day help with dog language and what to expect with unknown dogs.
We really appreciated the feeling that you were supportive even between classes (emailing updates, tips and newsletters). Patient, calm delivery when teaching. Personal anecdotes with Everest were encouraging. I liked how you would step in to demonstrate when necessary. We loved the course Chantal! We'll be back!
For Breeze, this course (Agility for beginners) helped tremendously with her separation anxiety, it has given her a new found confidence. The course delivery was great!
The help of the assistant trainer allowed for more one on one. The limited size of the course was useful, allowed for more individual attention. Great class, will definitely be doing agility and more obedience.
The recall course was everything I had hoped for and more. Rufus not only comes when called he regularly checks to see where I am and follows my lead (most of the time). The course is so much more than recall. It’s helped me build that ‘pack leader’ relationship with Rufus for which we are both much happier.
Many thanks, Lyn for your expert guidance.
