Alana Caflisch - Trainer

Alana has loved and lived with dogs all of her life. As a little girl, she dreamed of becoming a vet.

In the 90s, she caught the training bug after clicker training her mother's Fox Terrier. She enjoyed the experience and has loved seeing animals learn ever since. She believes that there is nothing better than seeing the joy in a pet owner's eyes when they realize that yes! their dog CAN do that !

Alana is a graduate of the Pet Dog Trainer Certification Program at the Ottawa Canine School and is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT). Not only does Alana work as a dog trainer, but for the last 5 years, she has been working with a variety of animals at a Veterinary Hospital. She feels fortunate to experience the joy dogs bring to our lives, every day, at work. At home, she enjoys training her Lab mix.

Her childhood dream has come true, in its own special way.
