Chantal Mills: Head Trainer

Thanks to my nearly 14 years of experience in the world of Education, first as an elementary, intermediate and high school teacher, then as Guidance Counsellor and later a Vice-Principal, I am at ease working with the most important end of the leash.

I am a certified pet dog trainer and behaviour consultant and a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT).

My most recent addition is Hemingway (or Hemi), a Great Dane rescued for the Puppy Mill bust near Montreal. Hemi's most recent accomplishment is being chosen as the model for the new Ottawa Canine school logo. We're very proud.

I also cohabitate with a White Shepherd X. He was found roaming the streets, eating from garbages, emaciated but happy-go-lucky nonetheless. Everest works for the Ottawa Canine School as a Demo Dog. His most recent accomplishment is passing the Canine Good Citizen test, on his first try, without studying. He is a bit of a show off.
