Have you done a Basic Obedience course but now want to practice in the "real world" ? Do you have a dog that pulls you wherever it wants to go ? Are you looking for something different and fun to do with your dog, like doing Agility outdoors, using benches, trees, rocks , stairs, etc. as obstacles?

If you`ve answered YES to any of the above questions, this course is designed for you!

Here are a few examples of the activities on the menu:

Sitting patiently on the side of the bike path while cyclists and rollerbladers go by
Playing fun games of "follow the leader"; weaving through trees, going through a tunnel, jumping over jumps, etc.
Learning how to cross the street safely and teaching your dog that the street is not a place to be

Check the CALENDAR for dates, times and location of each class. Come to the classes that suit your schedule.

What you will need:

Comfortable clothing and shoes you can move in
A 6 foot leash (NO ZIP, or EXTENDABLE LEASHES ALLOWED)
Plastic bags to pick up after your pet
Money if we stop for coffee (part of training)
A MARTINGALE collar is strongly recommended. The Ottawa Canine School has a large selection of designer Martingale collars (check out the boutique on a regular basis).
For your convenience, a selection of collars will also be available to rent ($4), should you choose to test one out before deciding to purchase (the rental fee would be deducted from purchase price).
