Frequently asked questions!

1. When can I start Puppy Kindergarten classes?

Puppy Kindergarten I and II are based on rolling admissions, which means you can start as soon as a spot becomes available and your puppy meets the pre-requisites.

2. Are you going to add more [insert class]?

We add new classes following the academic school calendar: Fall 2019 (September – December), Winter 2020 (January – April), Spring/Summer 2020 (May – August). We schedule classes every four months following the academic year.

Class schedule will be released on the first week of the month before the semester starts. For example, Winter 2020 classes will be open for enrollment on December 1st, 2019.

If it is not on our schedule for that particular semester, then it will not be offered.

3. I am going to miss a class. What should I do?

Before registering for a class, please ensure that you are able to attend all lessons. Class start date, graduation date, and holidays are available on our class schedule and class calendar.

If you still end up missing a class, there is no extension to your graduation date unless you miss the class due to medical issues with your dog. We will need a note from your vet.

4. Can I get a refund for a group class?

Yes, you can get a refund if you provide us with a written notice at least five business days before the class starts. When you purchase a class, a spot is reserved for you. We are a small business, so please be considerate by requesting for refund with ample time so that we can find your replacement.

More information about our Group Class Policy can be found here.

5. I still have specific questions, how can I contact you?

If your questions are still unanswered after browsing through our website, the best way to contact us is via email : info@ottawak9school.com. Our virtual office hours are Sundays to Thursdays. Please give us at least two days to get back to you.

If you prefer interactions over the telephone or in-person, please call or visit us during our store hours.
